Protecting and enhancing the local environment by working with local communities to embrace sustainable development and biodiversity, and so to make Stroud and its surrounding area a better, healthier place in which to live for both present and future generations. Helped us with tree planting.


The national organisation for small woodlands. Provide support for woodland owners including advice and training. Came on a visit to provide advice.

The Silvanus Trust

Worked through partnerships to regenerate the woodlands in the South West for economic, social and environmental benefits. Led Good from Woods research into how activities in woodland contribute to people and communities feeling good. The Trust has ceased to exist.

Co-operatives UK

National body that campaigns for co-operation and works to promote, develop and unite co-operative enterprises. Set up our legal stuff.
